The electric ANDERSEN winch combines safe sailing with ultimate push button comfort. ANDERSEN electric winches are available with single or two speed gear boxes. The two speed power drives feature automatic load sensed gear shift as an option. The gear boxes are made of non corrosive bronze which ensures easy dismantling should service be required. The range of electric ANDERSEN winches are designed with a very high degree of service kindness and flexibility made possible by the unique Modular Power System.

The motor is protected from overload by an amperage sensor installed to cut off power at a pre-set load. As further security, all electric motors are fitted with thermal cut-outs to prevent any overheating. The 12 STE is specially designed to be used as a halyard winch on yachts between 32 and 45 feet. The electric winch is supplied complete with installation manual, electronic box, switch(es) and plug-in fittings.
